History
The Finance Christian Fellowship (FCF) was officially launched as a Graduates' Christian Fellowship's (GCF) sectional group in mid-2008 following the GCF Annual General Meeting in July 2008. There had been keen interest by some GCF members whose careers were in the Singapore finance industry, to start a fellowship to help and encourage fellow Christians in this area. This is especially relevant as the awareness of corporate compliance and the need for highest ethical behaviour in the face of increasing financial complexity and pressures, have been rising steadily in the last decade with many notable corporate failures and frauds in Singapore and around the world. Thus, a few GCF members got together and initiated the idea of forming the FCF which became a reality in mid-2008.
